Neither guys should have been on the force in the first place. Thats textbook criminal harassment, assault with a weapon and uddering threats by the officers. This is what black lives matters movement was all about: This video wraps it up perfectly.
These situations are what normal people might have to go through. The victim in that video was amazing, I would have been terrified of even stepping out of the car too. There is a problem with police when the one having 2 guns pointed at him had to de-escalate the situation.

Its incredible sad when the person pulled over has a better handle on the situation and trying to keep things from getting out of control.
This is why every department should use body cams. Makes catching the crap like this easier and protects the officers doing it right from BS claims. Why body cams are controversial is beyond me.

They are controversial because it holds police accountable and they dont like that.
The lieutenant pulled out his phone to record the second he got pulled over which is sad, it’s like he already know some bs was about to go down. I just feel bad when he got sprayed, he wasn’t even mad or anything he was just saying “that’s messed up”.
The whole thing could have been avoided if the cops had told him why he was pulled over, he could’ve explained that it was a new car and that the plate was in the window.
Its hard for me to listen to "oh there are good cops on the force" when shit like this happens nearly on the daily to people of color, and fuck it even while people too, and other cops stay silent about it and dont step up to the racist and brutal norms in the force to challenge it. The only good cop is the one that stands up and rises against this bullshit

I've recorded every interaction with police I've had for at least the last 10 years. This should be standard practice for every single person regardless of your skin color.
Idk just saw that next police shooting in MN. Story checks out that they accidentally used their gun instead of taser in struggle—they said they were using a taser and only fired once—- but what the fuck are they doing arresting someone for expired tabs and an air freshener? That’s not how this works...

yea man, that one was fucked. my guess is the cop was another racist POS like Chauvin that was just looking for an excuse to shoot a black man, because they would never pull a white person over and arrest them for that

They were arresting him because there was a warrant for his arrest.
Nah i really believe them when they claim accident. When somebody is resisting like that you don’t know if they’re trying to drive away, or grab a gun out of center console. If she was a racist Chauvin she wouldn’t have just fired once, she woulda said fuck it snd kept pulling the trigger 7 more times. She realized she fucked up and stopped shooting even as he was driving away. How many times do you see cops empty the magazine on suspect, or keep shooting at them as they drive away? But she didn’t, so i believe her B
CrunnchyVanManyea man, that one was fucked. my guess is the cop was another racist POS like Chauvin that was just looking for an excuse to shoot a black man, because they would never pull a white person over and arrest them for that
Most police officers are good people, but the system is broken and African Americans have a much higher % based on pop. Per capita to be killed by a police officer... but I could just twist stats and say white people based on pop. Per capita have a much higher frequency to kill police officer or even worse, because blacks disproportionately commit more violent crime based than this is the sole reason for their higher % of arrests and police shooting deaths. This is a very poor way of looking at all this but I see it all too often.
Many people despise BLM on the right... but it is quite funny that the founder of BLM who was killed or assassinated, who really knows, frequently spoke out against the traing of US POLICE BY THE IDF AND ISRAELI MILITARY!
A week ago a bunch of congress members introduced a bill making this foreign unconstitutional training sacrosanct.
Think about that... the Israeli military training US police... imposing apartheid, shooting unarmed Palestinians, using white phosphorus; segregation, which is still big over there... really disgusting.
That being said I know two people who went into the police force who were absolute scumbags and delinquents way back in high-school. Another, who is a narcissist and a third now retired who was a swell guy who hated the former narcissist.
Another unarmed black man was just killed in a traffic right in the metropolitan of Minneapolis- while Chauvin's murder trial is still in progress...
The chick who shot him said she meant to use her taser but 'accidentally' shot him with her firearm instead... either she's lying through her teeth and knew exactly what she was doing, or she's so incredibly stupid that she shouldn't have ever been allowed to be a cop in the first place.
It's gonna be another tense summer in Minneapolis.
That video is fucked. I'll disagree on the plate thing. I fucking can't stand when people put temp tags behind tinted windows. You can't read them. Way too many cars without plates right now. But everything the cops did was wrong. They were visibly nervous which also isn't good. And then when they started spraying the guy. Geeze. That was Fox 5.3. That shit burns even if you get it on your hands. The dude couldn't even see and they kept spraying and saying to get out. Not to mention the death threat of "you're fixing to ride the lightning" and bodily threat of "you should be scared". Seriously what the fuck. The dude was legit in his uniform and an officer lol. This wasn't some gangbanger decked out in gold...

I'm calling bullshit. You're either under the influence or you're lying cuz no way you think your gun is your taser. That's like saying I didn't know this car was stolen. Or saying well she didn't look like she was 12.
Side note there is so much crime in my city right now and the cops barely do shit. The homies are out of control. They won't even respond unless there's an actual injury cuz there's so many reports of gunshots. I personally think there needs to be some knocking heads going on but on the other hand I've witnessed too many fucked up police activities. That's what happens when you put people with average or below average IQs and minimal education and training in charge of enforcing laws they don't even comprehend themselves. And if you try and argue that they are in the wrong, it's a sure fire way to getting arrested unconstitutionally.

valid I guess, either way the US police force is in massive need of reform and de-escalation training so that way shit like this can be avoided

Indeed. The police officer who was responsible for killing Floyd, their department, had trained with the brutal Israeli military.
I think the first step is making it illegal for ANY police in the US to train with military, domestic or foreign.
Then do de-escalation programs and start them state wide now.

I mean I dont think Israel is to blame for all of the US's problems, I'd step down a notch from that, I think American policing itself is inherently very apologetic to racism and allows for a lot of discrimination to go on.
However I do agree that police forces shouldn't train with the military, all they really need if they received proper de-escalation training is basic self defense and a taser, maybe a sidearm if they prove they are capable of de-escalating a situation without one

Fun fact, some police departments including Seattle pay their officers for wearing body cams. Absolutely ridiculous.

Highly disagree.
I've read on here and many other places that the military has MUCH higher training standards, requirements and consequences that dictate the use of of firearms and lethal force.
HypeBeastFun fact, some police departments including Seattle pay their officers for wearing body cams. Absolutely ridiculous.
Crazy thing is an honest officer only has to gain by wearing one. If they get into a tense situation were someone could make a claim against the officer but the officer handled it by the book their name is cleared right away. People make crazy claims all the time and I would be begging to have something like a cam to cover me all the time.

True, it's its own corporation but it causes the taxpayer tremendous problems and should stop being a welfare state.
I was just stating the fact that the US police train with a brutal military that imposes apartheid. And rhat should stop. I agree with your other points.

Military and domestic police should always be separated... always, despite their training methods.
The first step is instituting de-escalation programs and revamping all training facilities in this direction.
Are you fine with a foreign military training US police forces?
That was messed up, kinda a crap shoot getting pulled over what your going to get but best thing to do is keep your mouth shut and do what they say to keep them calm and not piss them off
Bro wtf are you smoking? I agree with the dude above that the military has higher honor and ethical enforceable standards than the police. When ppl retire from serving they make the perfect candidates for police work

Seperation in training... I said nothing anout barring former military officers from serving in the police force.

Yikes. It really seems like an accident. Officer announces taser multiple times, and rightfully so given the circumstance and immediately after the shot gets freaked. That being said there is zero excuse for an officer to make such a costly mistake. Yes they happen, but when they take someone's life that is an inexcusable mistake imo.

IDK maan you have to be a different breed of dumb to think a taser is a gun kinda sus imo. I mean you dont just accidentally take out a gun take the saftey off and load it and shoot while thinking its a taser. I mean mabey the gun was already loaded or whatever but even so. If it really was a accident that person was never fit to wear a badge in the first place.

I fully agree that she had no business being out there if she could make such a mistake. However to claim it was intentional is jumping to conclusions and making assumptions beyond what is seen in the video.

This is what happens when:
-A candidate is hired based on diversity quotas rather qualifications for the job. (woman who doesn't know what she's doing)
-Police funding is decreased which results in retard level police skills (pulls her GUN rather than a taser)
-People are told and shown that it's appropriate to fight and or run from police. (do what the armed police say, fight in the fucking courts)
Wokeness is literally getting people killed via negligence and the normalization of degenerate behavior.
Fuck everything about this situation. With what's coming in the Chauvin trial... get. the. fuck. out. of. the. cities.
Tasers can get just as dangerous as guns if you have a heart or neurological condition. Or even if you don’t you can go into convulsions and have a seizure and die.

It was loaded. It was a glock. Glocks don't have safeties. Tasers have safeties. She would have had to have done a cross body draw to draw the taser. She would've had to flick the safety off on the taser.
These red flags should have registered in her brain... but they didn't. She was negligent. Poorly trained. And couldn't think straight under stress. All around dumb person.
Fire her and toss her in jail.
I will add that this particular incident clearly had nothing to do with race. No matter what BLM/antifa wants people to think.

Its funny how most ppl would say its never right to tell somebody to kill themselves, but if you said “what about kim potter?”
everybody would be like “oh.... ummm.... shit...”
if this idiot cop killed herself everybody would celebrate.
what a piece of shit. Like you i am inclined to think she knew what she was doing and wanted to shoot someone to feel special, just like many american cops seem to. Otherwise why would she yell “taser taser!” ? I think she yelled “taser” so everybody watching the video would think she meant to pull out her tazer.
Anybody who thinks this cunt should not be held responsible deserves to have their whole family ride a plane with a drunk pilot who crashes the plane. “Oh but thats diff-“ shut the fuck up. How the fuck is it different? The pilot who got drunk and killed your whole family in the plane crash didnt “fuck up” any more than officer kim potter did. The pilot didnt want to crash the plane just like kim potter “supposedly” didnt mean to shoot her gun.
If a pilot got drunk and crashed a plane killing every passenger except for themselves, every human on the planet would rejoice to find out the pilot had killed themselves in shame.
and this complete fucking disgrace to humanity kim potter would be no different.
Also this video is horrible too. The guy is in the fucking military, as in, HAS BALLS 10x THE SIZE OF THESE LITTLE BITCH OFFICERS, and the cops are treating him as if he wasnt acting appropriately. Unbelievable.
DolansLebensraumLike you i am inclined to think she knew what she was doing and wanted to shoot someone to feel special, just like many american cops seem to.
No, not like me. I don't think that at all, and isn't what the video shows. I don't think she wanted to kill anyone, but her lack of training, lack of caring to train, and inability to think and act correctly under pressure led to this horrible accident.
Police need to be held accountable in the same way the military is. Create a Uniform Code of Police Justice the same way the Military has the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Granted it can't be the same but the basis of the idea can stay the same. UCMJ covers just about anything from being late to formation and missing appointments to murder and rape. One set standard for every police department across the US. Obviously it would take tweaking and adjusting.
how come the 99.99% of cops who do a good job don't ever get a "thank you". One cop who makes a mistake and everyone loses their fucking minds. The media literally wants you idiots to hate the people who keep you safe and divide the country further.
I was on Yale University the other day and two idiotic white chicks were holding up signs that said "Defund the Yale PD Now'
I asked who they'd call if they get raped and they said "We will police ourselves".

The logic these people have is profound.
Because when cops make mistakes people lose their life... And I'm suuuure you walked up to college girls and asked that question.
Lol i get banned from this forum every fucking week. You really think I'd be afraid to ask two dumb white chicks that question? You guys might be dumber than I thought.
Oh yea people lose their life. You know whats not that difficult? Complying with law enforcement even if you've done nothing wrong. We've all been stopped by cops. But only the dumb ones try to run or drive away.
I think later today i'll break into stores and steal shit. Then maybe burn my city down.
Why do I never hear about all these white people dying from cops? That's odd how there's more than double that of any other race ... somehow it's just never on the news?? I'm sure the media has your best intentions in mind.
