Shin pain

I have horrible shin pain once i’m done skiing. i’m pretty sure it because of my boots but i’m not buying new ones so late in the year. What do you guys do for shin pain?

well get new boots next year but other than that, id undo on the chair or chill runs and leaving the buckle under ur top one on ur shin loose and the top pretty tight helps me alot

i think it’s cause there’s a little space between the top of boots and my shins and when i land switch or to far forward it hits them. problem is the boots don’t tighten enough

Your boots are definitely too big. If you are currently in extreme pain look up muay thai shin recovery. There is a really good video by Silvie Von Douglas, it will hurt but it will help. Other than that pad your shin, crank that top strap, and get better fitting boots for next season.

This probably isn't what you want to hear, but I swear shin pain (especially after a lot of back seat landings) seems to be a part of skiing:( I have new properly fitted boots, and it helps a bit, but I still get it after several days of skiing hard.

Boots too big or backseat pinches calf and stretches knee.

Do a bunch of calf raises and make your calves nice and big to fit in your boots better
