90mm brake bindings on 100mm skis

I've got a pair of 2010 Surface Watch Life all mountain skis, and on evo they state that they should work for a brake width from 100mm to 110mm.

However the waist width is 100mm. Would I be able to go the other direction and mount 90mm brake bindings? I'm really struggling to find cheap ish bindings 100mm or above...

Yes they should work, but if they are to tight, it should be fairly easy to bend the brakes out a bit

Youd probably have to bend them. Just try to find a used 100mm brake online if the 90s dont work
