Replying to Armada triple quiver
Just wanted to hear your opinion.
I'm going to be replacing my current set of skis, and I need a bit of advice.
About me.
Guy
Mid 30s
190cm/6,2ft
115kg/250lbs
Been skiing for three years, I've started doing more park and learning to jump, but definately enjoy some touring, back country/ powder days and cruising the most.
Currently i have
Fischer Ranger 116 2021 - Kingpin bindings
On3p Steeple 108 2017 - Jester bindings
Since I'm a large dude I've realized that i prefer big skis.. (Go figure.)
I've gotten the opportunity to get a good deal from Armada, so i thought I'd give it a try.
What I'm currently looking at is;
ARV 116JJ 192cm - Shift 13 Bindings
I'm thinking of using this ski for small tours with epic conditions, and as my powder/soft snow ski.
Tracer 108 188cm - Shift 13 Bindings
More touring oriented and groomers/daily driver.
ARV 96 184cm - STH2 16 binding
For having more fun in park, moguls, maybe learn a trick and playing in the local resort.
The skis I'm most concerned about is the Tracer (if the ARV 106 would be a better daily driver),
and if I'd have more fun on a dedicated park ski like EDollo, rather than ARV96.
(My reasoning is since I'm heavier, the EDollo will probably be too soft for me?)
Any insight here is much apreciated!
