Replying to X-Games 2021 happened?

First post in many moons.

Did anybody else even realize X-Games even was going on this year? I just hopped on Facebook and saw that Harlaut opted out of slope due to a dispute in scoring. That was the first time I realized that X-Games was even happening right now. I’m not super active on NS these days but I still get a decent amount of updates from Facebook and Instagram (I’m sorry I still love NS)

I can’t help but feel like this is a reflection of the state of the sport and X in general. I remember socials blowing up and people looking forward to this stuff. In the golden era 09-12 I think? This was blowing up and was getting major support. Now X-games came and went and I had no idea. I’m sad that this is what I’m seeing and am interested to see if others have also noticed this.
