Should I get these used skis?

I found a 2019 Elan Element ski is ok condition however there is a huge gouge near the tip of the ski. Should I still buy it? It is for a really good price. Please see second photo

if you want them then absolutely. the base damage doesn’t look like an issue to me

The part with base damage isn’t even going to touch the snow. And if you want them and they are a good deal totally got for it! You can never have too many skis.
