Moment Meridian as an east cost all-mountain ski

I've been looking at some all-mountain skis for next year, keeping in mind I will most likely end up going to college somewhere a little snowier than Maine (Looking at U of U, and UC Boulder along with others) The full rocker aspect of the Meridians seems really like it would be really fun, but I'm slightly worried it'll be too much ski. I ski pretty hard but I do enjoy being able to do switch landings and whatnot.

Any east coasters ride them?

Any input on how they ride in general? Like should I be looking at different ski?

Full rocker makes a lot of people think they’re noodles I think, they’re pretty damn stiff. They hold a really good edge but lack that “rebound” that you get with a traditional camber ski. Easy to spin and ski switch though, I’d send it. Great ski overall. @patagonialuke may have more insight

My favorite skis back when I was on the east coast were full rocker, makes skiing tight trees easier but you still have decent grip on groomers when laying them on edge.

I have a pair of the meridians in for a roofbox review this year. They are pretty stout flexing, not a noodle by any means. They also have plenty of twin tail for landing and taking off switch, and at 107 are a pretty solid width for all around riding.

what skis do you have now for this purpose and what are you wanting the meridians to do better?

I'm currently on rmu apostle 98's but only have them till the end of the season since I'm trying out their new seven4 society thing.

The apostles are pretty fun, but I'm looking for something amore stable and a bit more playful and the meridians seemed like a decent fit from the reviews I read.

I'm fine if it's a relatively stiff ski as I have some blends to dick around on for when I want something softer.

Edit: the wider waist width would also be nice to have.

The meridians are both wider and stiffer than the apostles.

they do blend maneuverability and stability well though. I’d say they fit your priorities.
