SimkiwinkiNever got why people want adjustable poles
SofaKingSickfor compact storage/travel, and for different kinds of skiing. the most obvious one being if you're skinning etc, you'll want your poles longer on the way up and shorter on the way down
SimkiwinkiI get it for travel but otherwise I always buy the longest fixed pole avaliable usually around 135 - 145 (I'm 1,93m) then modivy and extend the grip. Works great for touring, freeride and booters. This is also much cheaper, lighter and more durable
