WoFlowzIdk I ski marksman 106 underfoot according to the ski website says 108 but I’d love some catamarans or Pettitors for those few deep days
LazylightningHow do you like em? I have a buddy who rides an older version and likes the asymmetry
ericformanI also ski the front range (mostly Mary Jane) and my widest is 106. I personally would add a stiffer / more directional ski of similar length before adding a wider ski but really just depends on your style. On “pow” days I’m normally wishing I could ski faster through covered bumps and not get bucked around rather than float better.
that being said having a fat ski would be prettttttttyyyyy dope. Moment wildcat mmmmm
LazylightningThe Wildcats look so nice haha. Idk if it's just me but I've found the Kartels to be plenty stiff for me, I'm relatively light so that helps. Been really eyeing up the black ops 118/gamer lately 👀
ericformanBlackops look so rowdy. Yea kartel is def stiff especially compared to most playful skis. I’m pretty light too and would likely find them plenty supportive like you do. My all mtns are some j skis which are softer I think. I hadn’t skied a directional ski in awhile and got on some manta102s on some beat days at copper last march and definitely realized I was missing something...

LazylightningDamn might have to try and demo some directional skis, I also haven't skiied any in a while. Did you find adjusting to a more traditional mount was odd?
ericformanI never got used to it in the air, the balance point just felt really off. Probably because you don't get to practice that very much in a single day. Took one run for it to feel good just generally skiing and then I could RIP. Bumps I would normally slither through I could just truck over.
Lazylightningreckoner?
BigPurpleSkiSuitFatypus D Sender 194, no reckoners yet

LazylightningWhat do you think of fatypus' durability? Haven't heard a lot about their skis
DeebieSkeebiesa 116 but it rips directional mostly and i like big-ish skis that can hold speed and turns pretty well in all sorts of conditions.
CatdickBojanglesHellbents the OGs at 122 underfoot.
LazylightningHeard a lotta good things about those, also seems like you're lucky to have a pair lol
soupcanA set of black ops 118. The best resort pow ski ever in my honest opinion.
SavageBiff118 yle pro - east coast , west coast pow days, can carve east coast hardpack, in pow they truly surf and can charge very well, not as damp as a b ops but close and easily more surfy, great in chop, crud, cement, trees , mine are mounted -5.5 team line
Dd- captis, apostle 98 wood, commander 108, sfb 108
chargers and knives-Corvus and stormrider 88
park-chronics
LazylightningDamn that's a quiver for sure! How do you like the corvus' and where do you have those mounted? Always been interested in big straight skis with no tail but I prefer to ride more centered....
SavageBiffCorvus is mounted at rec , believe that’s -8 at 193cm there is plenty of tail, they rip and are my stiffest ski for sure, pivot so easily even at low speed, they are flat underfoot with early rise to the top and tail with a significantly less splay in the tail, have good edge hold, float well for a low tapered 108, I like to ski them with decent forward pressure but they are not opposed to a balanced slightly centered stance, by comparison I think blister under rates their stiffness and dampness comparatively tho I never skied the previous Corvus considered a charger, I really like this flat rocker version in anything but ice.
CL3M3NTINO132 mm Armada Bubbas most fun shape I've been on in pow, really quick and a ton of flow. Praxis Protests or Powderboards would be skis I'd really like to try though.
LazylightningWould you feel justified taking those out in like 5 inches of fresh?
Weirdo_PuppyMy east coast one ski quiver is 86 under foot.
nmwninjart90... Midwest here..
I've skied on 78, 67, 65 , and 88.

driftsSaid I’d report back on JJs after riding them so here goes: First off I’m super out of shape and my legs are dead tonight but I really enjoyed riding the JJs. they will definitely take some getting used to coming from an ~80 and a ~100 waist but I could see myself riding them a lot, didn’t have any problems getting on edge on crusty groomers and they floated super well in the pow stashes and were really easy to pivot in those super super steep moguled out tree runs
