OCoffeyI was gonna go yesterday but my fam is making me quarantine. Real disappointed cuz it looks so fun
OregonDeadreservation system is weird. somehow it let me through at like 11:16 after clicking since 11:00 on the dot. hopefully they have a few lifts so it isn’t just a huge snake to ride pucci. Skiing is skiing though and I am stoked
OCoffeyThey said that the whole point of opening late was to spread out the crowds over more lifts so it should be good
whitenabWent for a ski walk up White River and found some pretty wind affected snow so we turned around and popped over to meadows. We went up to vista ridge and and did a couple laps. Snow was pretty good and there are some fun little features on the ridge and the bowls snow has held up pretty well to the sun today. By tomorrow afternoon the snow might be cooked though so don't wait around too long.
Also meadows staff was patrolling the lot and using a megaphone to yell at people uphilling inbounds. Pretty funny. Just stick to the left there's a bunch of skin tracks to the left of vista/the park.

OCoffeyWent up to crater lake today a built a backcountry booter and this snowboard kid from humboldt county comes up and I ask him if he wants to session it and we hit it and chilled and then he gave me some free bud. Hyped on today
ScootSkiLyfeFirst day of Meadows yesterday. I’d say it was a success. Both Vista and Cascade were running. The rails were sticky and the setup looks like a slope style course but it’s all good. Small park, fireweed, and shipyard are open. They need a fuckin rope tow in shipyard. Didn’t ski much park though, was lapping from cascade all the way down to hood river express and back, super fun run. Looks like Meadows is prepping to put Forest park in soon... a few rollers in there.
Everyone I saw seemed to be very good about Covid stuff which is promising. Couple dudes no wearing masks in lift lines but usually a worker called em out so hopefully we stay open! Caught a couple of chairs with a couple old dudes just sittin on opposite ends. I’m thinking it would be pretty tough to catch covid on a chairlift unless you’re breathing right into someone’s mouth lol. It was fun!
abar.Does anyone know if there's stuff built/set up at any of the bend area snoparks?
OCoffeyDoes meadows require proof of age for buying lift tickets online?
ParkRxNot that I can recall but you show your ID when you pick up your pass
OCoffeyHmmm you think I could get the tickets onto an old reload pass from 2 years ago?
ParkRxThats a good idea, I assumed that you can only reload a pass on the the same account as before but you could try I guess
I've been tempted to get a fake ID that says I'm younger and make a new meadows account but its probably a bad idea.
OCoffeyYeah everything is half the cost when your 14, it’s just gonna be hard to pull off looking that young

DominatorJacquesNot worth it just to get busted and loose the pass and the money paid.
Once you get older, you have to pay the piper.
OregonDeadI agree. MHM likes to use the ban hammer
DominatorJacquesAs do all. It's considered theft. Then one can get blacklisted for a long time.
I have seen so many youngers disappear once they get to adult status.
The good deal has left them.
OCoffeyFiiine I’ll pay for my age :/
OCoffeyAnyone know when Mt hood ski bowl is gonna open the rope tow park
