Restfull sleep

ever since i got back to university from reading week i havnt been sleeping well... ill wake up every hour or so during the night and when morning comes around i dont feel rested at all. Im not stressed about anything at the momnet, and i was sleeping fine up untill 3 nights ago.Is there any thing i can try to make my sleep more restful?

yo thom, the alcohol idea just makes you feel worse the next morning. I take some sleeping pills you can ge ta t the pharmacy or I take some allergy medecation. I took some allergy stuff lats ngith and it knocked me out in 30 minutes. I was asleep at 10:30 or so. Also, I presume weed really calms you down too. Some ncie soothing music is good aswel and reading. Make sure not to go on the computer for a long time then try to sleep. The flickering from the monitor agitates your eyes and prevents you from sleepign well.

If i dont sleep well tonight then im going to pull an alnighter tomorrow; hopefully that will put me back in order. If not it looks like this very very poor university student is going to be spending alot of money on over the counter drugs and weed...

make sure you dont have any caffeine or sugar within an hour and a half before you fall alseep, advil, nyquil and other things can get u back on trakc, and eventually stop taking them and you will be back to normal. i do it about once ever 3 months

I have a midterm on this tomorrow so this may actually be useful.
#1-no alcohol or drugs, then you become dependant on them in the long run for a good sleep.
#2-activity before bedtime only extends sleeping by and average of 10 minutes.
#3-Not in the chapter i'm studying, but releasing some protein isnt a bad thing to do, as the letdown stage tires a lot of people.
#4- Use your bed ONLY for sleeping, no studying, reading or anything like that. You will classically condition yourself to associate bed with sleep. Whenever you cant sleep, or wake up often and cant go back to sleep go to a chair and read something.
#5- Buy a foam mattress, cause university beds suck ass. They make a huge difference.

And I'll tell you one more thing: I faked every orgasm!

man...i ALWAYS sleep like a baby, no matter what, i hear nothing during the night...i can eat or drink caffine and go right to bed and still sleep just fine...i guess im weird like that...pullin an allnight shoulda help to get back into sleep patter the next night

yeah it's the same thing with me right now. I haven't gotten more than three hours of sleep a night in about a week and a half now. Every once in a while I'll just have a stretch of a week or two where I can't sleep at all, then after a while it'll go back to normal.

i wasnt kidding only because he said that exercise befor bed didnt help. Masterbating is exercise, It raises the heart reat, body tempature and entire matabolism which if dont right before going to sleep makes it harder for one to fall asleep because their body is trying to work at an excelerated pace while your mind is trying to relax. I was completly confused by what he was saying and even messaged him for clarification... Also, some days im kinda stupid.

i used to have so much trouble sleeping. i grew out of it, but if you are ever tossing and turning and ur bodyjust isnt slowing down, take some tylenol/advil it'll calm ur nerves and make you drowsy so you can sleep easier.
