Isn't the new B4 basically the exact same thing as this years B3? I know the dimensions are the same, not 100% sure about the flex.

I always though the b4s looked pretty ugly, but against that green sled... daaamn

From what I read, the dimensions on B4 are 112-94-112. Exact same as this years. Maybe my source is inacurate.

b4 for next season is demensionaly the same at the current year b3. YET, the b4 has whats called 'fat' tech plates, a visco/aluminum plate that is built into the ski, to livin up the ski. Tuff to explain, but the new b4 has a 'live-ly-er' feel on snow.
The reason that the new b3 is called the b4 is becuase the progression of the lineup has changed. Current year, we had the b1 (70mm waist), b2 (76mm waist) and B3 (94mm waist), which left for a large gap inbetween the b2 and 3. For 05-06, the b1 has a 74mm waist, the b2 78mm, the b3 83mm (with a larger sidecut so it absolutly arcs!) and the b4 with a 94mm waist.

Just makes more sence then having skis skip around.

No... I mean at one point there was a B4 out there with a 98mm waist. A couple months ago. Now apparently they've decided to run the 94 waist B3ish one, you say. So I'm wondering why that is.

What exactly do you look for in a sled for accessing terrain? It'd be kinda cool to have one. You know, if I win the lottery or something.

I use it for trail riding/racing/and jumping, no back country here in vt, but they just look sick with the b4's on em.

thats a sweet set up but u shoulda got a liquid cooled one, otherwise nice sled that is until it blows up (sno pros blow up really easy if you trail ride them and dont have the lower compression heads so u can run pump gas, also you need the trail kit that has more intercoolers underneath the tunnel so it doesnt overheat another big problem)

haha seeing that snomobile reminded me of something. does anyone here have people at their local drag strips that race snomobiles? like on the pavement? about 2 years ago some dud brought one w/ like wheels through the front skis and im guessing like a slick tread on it was was just destroying all these nice bikes. now they have their own division for em and there are plenty running 9's and 10's in the 1/4. its fun to watch those things r nasty
