safarisamSlight update on the MT travel: June 1st we enter phase 2, so no two week quarantine will be required. Still use your judgment b/c we’re a rural state.
theabortionatorI'm quarantined af in CA. And any stops I make along the way will be camping and hiking in places where I hope to god I don't see any other people.
Also I've been on that Clorox wipe and hand sanitizer game before corona made it cool. I got pink I from work once. And that ramped up my ocd lol. But yeah good call. If I show up it won't be till august and I'll be throwing down more than enough precautions. Figure I'm driving back to the northeast anyway and going to stop in WY to visit a good friend on the way. The only years I haven't done southern hem winters beartooth wasn't open. Would be sick to finally make it there after all these years.
B.GillisDon’t want to burst your bubble but the website says may 30 - july 5
theabortionatorA damn, I prolly won't go. I just built a ramp at home and just chillin for now. Oh well. Will probably never make it there I guess. When the world chills out I'll def be heading back to Australia for my summers. They just got the okay for the ski season, still holding out the slimmest of hope I'll be able to get a work visa mid summer. Unfortunately America has done such a shit job with Corona so prolly won't happen.
But you never know. Figure I'll road trip, visit a few friends, do some hiking and then chill back in the northeast.
mikemacsuper stoked to cruise up from jackson through yellowstone and shred bumps for my 28th birthday! never been, anyone know if they're planning on building any park features this year?
also whats the camping scene like? can you camp in the lot or anywhere on the pass? or is it all blm/forest on the cody side?
B.GillisI’m sure you can still find snow somewhere along your road trip, just to say you got some turns. Last time I drove cross country I skied in 3 different national parks in July. Snow wasn’t perfect by any means but it was still a blast.
