Draw inspiration outside of skiing from the unlimited sources of art you have access too.

I take care of my skis, treat them well, wax, rubbing, massage. So they treat me right in return.

I was using a MacBook Pro with a broken screen, so I plugged in to my t.v and would edit from that. Was terrible. Sticky eyez

I recently bought a used macOS MOJAVE late 2013. Changed the game.

I edit on adobe premiere pro CC 2020 rn.

Bushdid9_11What sorts of relationships between skiing and music do you see or use?


The main relationship I see is that they are both art formz.

A musician's instrument is string's, voice, keys, etc. My instrument is skis.

It's all language. They communicate with vibrations you can ear. I communicate with body motions you can see.

When both interact, sound and visual, it's a really special combination, if done properly.

hubbardsWith the size of some of the urban features you hit, it's probably safe to say you've taken huge slams, some of which we've seen in your movies such as Nuance and En Particulier.
What is your mindset regarding the potential for serious injury, especially since you don't ride with a helmet? And when you do slam, is your ability to keep getting up about the physical or mental?

Also much love for the best urban style in the game!! :)

The way i treat it, to best avoid that, is by being physically and mentally sharp. I try my best to be considerate because health is the most precious thing i've got.

That being said, it is what it is, injuries may and will happen when your trying to tap in your full potential, in extreme sports espacially.

But, when it does happen, the experience gained from the ability to bounce back from it, is priceless.

Getting up after crashing hard is a result of both physical and mental conditioning.

No_Gorby_GapWhat’s the trick that was the hardest/took the longest to learn for you?


It took me a while to get sw 5's around. I would alwayz catch my tipz on the take off, would scare me to try it.

Then we built a jump, in shawi's bc, that had a mandatory left side carve (right carve for sw). I understood it then.

Str8CheddaWhere do you see yourself in 20 years, still contributing to the skiing industry and leaving that same BDOG print in the scene?


I gotta spin a lot to see that far ahead.

Who knowz man... But to try and formulate something-

I see myself still invested in skiing, on a different level.

Closer to self-sufficiency, a fat land with a large variety of veggies and legumes.

A piece of land with a hill where I can have a tow rope with a few features, invite some friendz, get kidz shredding.

Harvesting many wild mushrooms and growing many.

Writing some fantastic & inspiring stories. Transcend them to movies.

Editing some fly Alice in Wonderland type flick and some Redman video clipz.

Carving some Magic wands and transforming foes to edible mushrooms

That's a good question. Must of been thru Eric Iberg's friend, Shane Nelson, who edited parts of EOS. He was an aspiring pro skater at some point.

Thank you, that was amazing, those guys are too nice. Hooked Tanner, Henrik and myself with a pair of blades.

A calm setting, in a Park, natural speed, ideally.

There's gotta be some type of consequence or the trick really has to stand out. Both is best.

It's got to be visually pleasing. Notable architecture, graffiti, contrast.

As least of manufacturing as possible. Big builds are dope but I prefer making more out of smaller features.

Be skiing on as many street elements as possible in the shortest amount of time. Action packed.

Be able to udolize the whole structure. Grind the whole rail. Make it to the top of the wall, etc. If i can't, prally won't do it.

The ski piece I am most satisfied with the editing is ~Absolem~

Mr.LumpyjumblesAny insight on Real Ski and if you'll be competing in it next year?


This year I opted out of the contest. I felt it was holding me back on skiing in general.

I wouldn't hit certain features cause they weren't big enough. What are the judges gonna think type talk. It deprived me from just being a skier and skiing really.

Reality is, I'm not as hungry to win anymore. I achieved the set goal, so best to respect that, be happy, and move on.

Instead Brady and I starting filming for a movie, joined by our good friend Frank Bourgeois. But i got injured, unfortunately.

I don't think I'll be competing in it for the reasons mentioned above

It is rarely improvised, mostly premeditated. I might of thought of a trick 5 yearz ago and finally got it today.

I enter a progressive zone by pushing myself into it. In my mind, I tell myself, it's time to do something new. Saying it out loud to people helps too.

If you really want to learn something new, here's my advice.

Try it a bunch today. Work your way up to it. Respect you're skill and energy level. Repeat constantly.

Have a good night of sleep and try it again the next day.

Sleep is miraculous.

I love that segment, everything was synchronized for me that year. Timing was great. I was fulfilling a dream filming with them.

AricWhen and where did you meet Dollo?


We officially met at Orage European Open, in 2007 at Laax.

I was riding the public park, i did a lip 270 on to a rail. Henrik was at the bottom and saw. He gave me propz and we took the t-bar together. Full bromance.

It gave me insights on what the ego is. Prior to experiencing with psilocybin, I was unaware of it.

One day, i took a bigger dose and had an ego death experience. It was scary, because I had no more frame of reference of who or what I was. I thought that this was death. In my mind, I visited people I loved and basically said thankz & peace, I'm out tical. It was tough to accept I was not going to see them again...

Eventually, I realized I was still alive. Booyah! Felt amazing. I got a second chance at Life type of feeling. So the next morning, I went and visited my family and told them I loved them, I felt it.

So the positive effect, was one of gratefulness and humility. A realization that, I will die and i'm cool with it. But meanwhile i'm still here, I have to treat Life with reverence and love. It's a process.

I try to harnest those moments as much as possible, revisit how I felt so it can live on in me. I do slip and mistreat myself and others, but I take notice of it, forgive myself and move forward on better foot.

I am far from a good colorist, but just like anything, do it a bunch. Feel out what resonates with you, download some lut packages.

Brady uses a Panasonic GH5.

Yesir rn I am finishing up writing a script for a cartoon. Walking a bunch cause that's when my imagination runs best.

I am gardening indoorz, I have a bunch of vegetables and legumes growing that are looking forward to summer sun.

I carve wood.

Yes, great idea, the world needs the Brad monkz skiing.

Also, how much of your preparation for someone is visualisation of outcome?

I give thankz for protection and the success of my vision, in these exact wordz.

A big part of the process is visualisation, but really it's often quite different when I go for it. So at that point, it's répétition.

One that sticks out is when I landed the opening clip of my first real ski. Long kinky rail shot.

I had little faith left with my energy remaining. I was drained, mentally and physically.

But all thru the session, I focused on when I'd get it, I was going to toss my hat. When it happened, I didn't think about it and the hat flew.

BagOTricksWas filming for Real Ski actually fun? Or did the pressure/time restrictions/injuries make it not as enjoyable as filming a regular street part? I always though Real Ski could potentially suck the enjoyment out of filming, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.


It was very variable, but I wouldn't call it fun. High'z and Low'z. I had too much on my mind to enjoy myself, and had high expectations that were very rarely if ever fulfilled.

It's fun to look back on the movies Brady made from it, though.

What are some of the things you look forward to every day?


It's the street skiing capital, ahah.

But I didn't think about it really, I just did it. I grew up here, many people I love around here. Abundant nature, a bunch of space. Living is not too pricey. There is a ski Resort and two skate Parks.

I look forward to breakfast, big time. I eat two mealz a day so when breakfast comes at 13h, I am hyped.

I love watching the Sun set.

WhacksonWhat’s the best memory skiing you have ever had?


It was raining but the resort opened still. I had gotten ticketz for Friends who were coming that day.

I went to the resort and started skiing alone and it was the stickiest snow in the game. I called my homiez to tell them it might not be worth the 2 hour drive but they we're 30 minutes away. I was feeling shitty for them.

I went and axed the Director of the resort for salt and he said he'd look and see.

My friendz arrived, we started skiing and we could barely move forward.

Eventually, a resort employee brought us a salt bag and saved the day. We salted from top to bottom, skis width. It changed the game and we followed each other one being another and got a solid 6 hourz of skiing in.

I'd love too and probably will. But I don't really see myself buying a sled or jumping in an Helicopter or moving from Quebec.

So it might be slightly different then what you might expect but I would love to ski more pow.
