the Low Pressure Podcast guy did a summer in NZ and did some episodes there. Listening to those might give you an idea of some of the resorts down there/places to stay etc.

For Argentina you should definitely check Ushuaia, Bariloche or Las leñas.

I've done NZ, Australia, and Africa. Never done South America though. Would like to do a season there but the lack of a language barrier and knowing the system already it's easier for me to go back to places I've already been. Kinda locked down to the mtn in Australia but not doing shit this summer cause of corona.

The mtns are more legit in NZ though. South America seems rad, maybe at some point.
