I’m very new to stocks so please enlighten me if I’m being retarded. So the majority of nz listed companies on the market have around a 50% drop in all stocks. With my prediction of a vaccine comin within the year, and outbreak of the virus being rapidly contained am I correct in saying it’s an excellent time to buy? I just put about 2k into Skycity holdings. With an average price of $4 a share over the past 5 years and current price of 1.30 if my calculations are correct within a year that should be significant return.
If there isn’t a quick yearly return I’m not fussed to wait long term for the shares to bounce back. I have money to spare.
Also I put money into some of our national banks, petrol companies and a retirement village.
What do you think?
