Legs have to be completely straight. You can’t jerk forward or it wont work, just leave your hand extended at about eye-level, point toes up as much as possible, and place your ski into your hand. Practice on lift. You might have to get more flexible but just don’t jerk forward or you’re gonna fuck it up
yea nah mate those legs gotta stay straight. one thing that helped me learn them was to remember to detach your upper and lower body. if you're spinning a 3 to the left and doing opp nose (which is standard) with your right hand, lead your rotation with your upper body. you will notice that as your legs are slightly behind in the rotation, it becomes much easier to reach to your opposite nose, as you now have a little bit of twist and diagonal reach. straighten your legs and lift your toes/flex your ankle as much as you can and it should be right there.
Nose grabs are like the most beautiful thing in the world but my damn knees won't go straight in the air. Never in my life have I been able to even touch my noses in the air :(
