Which park skis do I buy?

Hi, I currently am riding Volkl Revolt 87s, but I find them too stiff and not playful enough. I am relatively new to park, I can inconsistently land 360s and slide most rails with no spins. My goals for this season coming up are to get 360s consistently, do some off axis 540s, frontflips, backflips and get spins off rails. I'd say I spend 75% of the time in the park, and the rest of the time I am just playing around the mountain (bombing hills, side hits, drops, etc). I live in Australia so there is very limited powder. I've been looking at the ON3P Magnus 90s, Line Chronics and the Armada Edollos.

I would normally say the Magnus but with you just starting in the park I’d say go for the Chronics. Lighter and not near as much rocker so they’ll be a little more forgiving for learning new tricks.

Ya the newer chronics would b a good fit for support and softness for learning, same for the badger and good all mountain

you could go dollos or bdogs idk even blends if u want softer

I vouch for the ON3P magnus if you can afford it. I've never had a ski that meshes with me so well and allows me to progress as fast as it does. It's a excellent tool for playing and learning. I've learned a new trick every day I've ski'd them so far (whether or not it was some stupid swerve thing but you get the point)

Your skis are improving too? How so? 😆

have u skied the jeffs as well? Can u compare them to Magnus ? Curious how Magnus is all mountain vs Jeff / woodsman I’m thinking Jeff or woodsman tho for me Magnus b all park

Yeah there is something about he ON3Ps that is just so steezy, but maybe I'm not good enough to ride them. Idk. Can I pm you about them? Cheers!

Yeah I've heard heaps of mixed reviews about the ON3Ps. I'd really like to ride them, but if the chronics will be better for learning new tricks then I should probably go for them. Do you now when the 2021 lineup comes out? Cheers!

Yeah that sounds good. I do like the idea of having a soft ski, but I worry itllake it too hard to go fast/ hit big jumps. Thanks biff :)

Yeah I tried my homies Jeffrey 108’s (we have the same bsl so we can trade skis) and they were definitely stiffer and heavier. Only did a run down a blue groomer but they felt a lot more confident at high speeds for sure

Yeah PM me. I’ve found that the only people that care about “being good enough to ride a ski” are 12 years old. So I wouldn’t worry about people judging you

Tough call as the the ON3P are mid/stiff with heavy rocker compared to the other two that have very little rocker in comparison but are much more forgiving with the softer flex profile. I would check them out in person if you're able to or decide what would fit your style best. Don't let the hype be the only reason for your purchase.
