I get pretty annoyed when people post on Instagram and then share the post in their story, usually with some dumb gif or fancy font "Check out my latest post!" or "New post!". Makes no sense to me, basically makes them sound desperate for people to go like their post.
What REALLY gets me though is when people re-post other's reactions to their post. like If person A posts something, person B shares person A's post on their story with some comment, and then person A copies that onto their own story with something corny.
To me it really shows your ego on social media, like yeah if I take a dope picture and post it and someone else goes and shares it to their own set of followers, cool. But when people constantly post these reactions and show off all their comments it just makes me cringe. Kinda like prancing around and making yourself seem super-important. Just commenting on a picture is fine in my mind, if someone says "oh this is dope!" and you say thanks that's just being polite, but the other stuff just is a bit too much for me and kills me on the inside.
Maybe i'm secretly just jealous inside, maybe I wish I was cool enough to take trendy photos and get lots of comments, idk.
Really not a big deal and I usually just ignore it and move on with my life but saw this like 3 times just browsing through for a couple minutes on my break at work and got myself worked up. Not really hating on anyone or their work, but just think it highlights the desperation on social media for a few extra likes.
