I got my boots several years ago. I got them heat moulded and they fit perfect. I have now been away from skiing for a few years (I live in Minnesota, don't really ski here, and haven't been out west for a few years). I've been wearing my boots a bit to get my feet used to them to prepare for my coming trip to Utah.
There is one spot on one boot that is pressing on the top of my foot. It's not painful, just uncomfortable. It was never an issue before and I have a few seasons on these boots.
If this continues to be an issue after wearing my boots around, what is my best option? Can I get the boots heat moulded again, or would that weaken them since they've been heat moulded already and have a lot of use on them? If heat moulding again is a bad idea, I presume it would at least be okay to get that one place spot punched (which might be a better option regardless)?
If it does continue to be an issue I'll probably call my bootfitter, just asking here first in the hopes of getting some preliminary input.
Thanks.
