Replying to Ski Shop set my DINs at 4

Price_Police:
So I got my new Manguses mounted the other day (Dead center) at a ski shop I visit regularly.

I like to support this shop over their competitors in town because they carry armadas, Line, K2, Oakley, etc. and other new school skiing brands. I’ll usually go in a couple times a year and buy small things, chat with the guys about carrying more core brands like ON3P and Moment, and flex the new skis.

So you can imagine my horror when they placed my newly mounted Magnus beauties in my hands and I realized the DINs were set at 4! I usually ride them around 12 so my skis don’t pop off doing swerves, presses, and butter maneuvers like the bunchboys.

I politely asked the ski techs if they could turn the dins up to around 12 but they refused due to liability reasons and because of the height, weight and skier type I listed (obviously 3). I told them my skis are going to pop off every time I land backseat on a cork 7 or a little forward on a rod 5. But they didn’t seem to understand. I guess it turns out they weren’t the core shop I imagined but instead just another institution reliant on the business of complete Jerry’s.
