It's also a little suspect that these same dudes only want to give praise to the strong, athletic men participating in our sport. Why would anyone ever want to discourage chicks from enjoying skiing? These guys sound like they just want the whole park to be a sausage fest so they can two-seven on some dick.

I'd have to disagree though, I would say NS has definitely become a more inclusive place in recent years, and not just for women but for people in general. When ever I watch a girl's edit on here the feedback is always overwhelmingly positive. People were stoked on Jyosei from what I saw, and everyone thought the ladies part in the new faction movie was sick. So I'm not really sure what OP is on about.

I'd also like to point out that the entire premise of this thread is objectifying and sexist toward women. Respecting women's skiing shouldn't be about "getting pussy". I respect lady shredders because they're good at the sport I love and I like watching them. full stop. Getting laid should have nothing to do with it. And I feel confident that the majority of people on here agree with me there. Fuck this divisive nonsense.

SuspiciousFishPretty much this. Wasnt there even a survey on the front page a few weeks ago and something like 80% of female skiers said they felt supported by male friends and skiers? The only shitpost threads are about Sierra Quitiquit and that stupid girl ski brand that does nothing but bitch on instagram both of which are toxic to skiing.

Nope, not trolling and not out of left field. I saw a post just in the past week or two and IIRC: the OP there was comparing the skill differences between special needs athletes and non-disabled athletes TO the skill differences between men and women freestyle skiers. OP of that post asked if they should be paid similarly then subsequently tried to make the argument that (paraphrasing here), “well, if you think special needs athletes shouldn't be paid the same as non-disabled athletes because of skill differences, then you're a hypocrite if you think women should be paid as much as men. You’re all SJWs.” Again, that is my own paraphrasing from memory - I cant find the actual post or I would have linked it from the beginning. People on here shut him down pretty hard too. Although, it could have been a troll post thinking back on it now tbh... but regardless it's what got me on this whole train of thought but far from the only reason why I posted this.

There was an 11 or so year old girl at my home hill growing up, she was objectively one of the best park skiers on the mountain. Seen her lace back to back 2 pretz 2s 4s on 7s, 9s, and everything in between. Did she make me feel bad about my own ability? Absolutely. Did she make me feel like a pussy in comparison? You bet. But she was fucking sick and imma cheer her on all the way to the olympics, and anyone who knows her will do the same. She rips harder than 95% of dudes I’ve ever met and I bet she still doesn’t have a drivers license. Point is the fact that she is a chick makes me root even harder cause she for sure gets other chicks stoked on skiing. And that means more chicks on the hill, and one day there’ll be enough pussy to go around for everyone on the mountain. You ever walk into a bar and say damn, there’s just too many women here? Me either

Females are often criticized on 4chan for putting too much value behind their emotions. You sure sound like one of these females, whether or not you actually are one. Females (perhaps like you) tend to think your emotions are as relevant as reason, so whenever something you read makes you angry, you immediately assume that it must be wrong.

Again, you literally think that if something angers you or causes you to face youre own hypocrisy, it MUST be wrong/trolling.

Take a step back and think about this big poppa.

I posted a thread about special olympics athletes deserving to earn the same as female and male athletes, because there is a malignant hypocrisy going on with the Me Too movement.

If I went up to a young girl like you on the slope and said “hey girl, you wont make as much money as guys do because you are at a genetic disadvantage relative to the boys” you might think its a dick thing to say, and you might be right.

But for you to label that as a dick thing to say and then turn around and tell a special olympics athlete on the slope, “hey, you wont earn as much money as the girls because you are at a genetic disadvantage”, there is a metastatic hypocrisy going on there. In fact, you (big poppa) are alot more likely to go to hell for what you said than i am for what i said, because you might have other proclivities/strengths to fall back on (such as talking endlessly about the importance and righteousness of your emotions), while most special olympics athletes dont have much else to fall back on.

Calling me an incel is a convenient copout for people like you except you will have nightmares about the possibility that im not an incel

12 year old children like you getting their spleen handed to them on the internet is the main reason why i wont let my own kids interact on internet forums until they are 18.
The best thing you can do is shut up and stop digging your own grave.

Look at the freeride world tour today. Like 1/3rd of the girls crashed and another 1/3rd of the girls couldn’t charge hard enough to not get caught up in the snow. The other 1/3rd of the girls skied super well and I was super impressed. But for them to have equal pay when some no name on NS could probably podium against them is proving this is just a publicity stunt. I mean look at the new streaming format, it’s designed to make it more watchable so they can have more viewers. But the funny thing is the only people who will ever watch freeride comps are the core skiers - who prefer the old.
