Replying to There is no rush without danger.
Nothing makes me cringe more than people calling themselves “adrenaline junkies” when they go bungie jumping or zip-lining etc. How can someone get a rush from something they know is entirely safe,(asides from freak accidents) you’re not pushing the comfort zone of your skill level and mental fortitude at all.
For me the best rush is from skiing or long boarding. Hell even bodyboarding doesn’t really do it for me. See with a sport like long boarding your balance has to be so on point when you’re bombing a hill. The concrete is rushing by plus there is the threat of cars. The best rush I’ve had is when I boosted the piss out of this ashfalt hill, at the bottom I got the speed wobbles of doom... if I fell I would of fucking snapped my shit up. But no, I rode it out, hell yeah. Party time mother fucker.
Same with skiing, I’m only happy at the end of the day if I’ve really pushed it or learnt something new.
tldr; people who say they get a rush from safe shit like bungee jumping are beta (I just don’t understand their thinking)
