So, last year I purchased Salomon QST Access 70 (18/19) mens in 28/28.5 since I am size 10.5 (6' 150LB). The last is 100mm. I am a type 3 skier in New England, sometimes go to CO. Mainly trees and groomers, some off piste. Not really a park dude. Anyway, I figured they would be snug enough as it was a really tight fit, knowing it would break in, at the store. As I broke them in, my foot moved way too much in the toe box, ankle, and shin areas. After a couple shivs and C's, it's better but with pressure points that affect me later on in the day. Ever since I have been researching whether I have a narrower foot than not( I definitely do cause I am skinny and lanky af). So now I am in the process of selling and looking for new boots. I want the same style but they might be too wide still a size down. What are some reconmendations for a like style that is not flashy? I really like how easy it was to hike and walk in them. Those were dark navy/blue/silver buckles. I want to know what to look for when I go to the local shops in NH.
