I'm looking for a new pair of skis. I live in NY so not much powder; mostly ice and rocks and roots haha. I will mostly stay on the groomers, but my favorite runs are through the trees and getting air on side hits. Ive been looking at the Black Crows Camox but I'm worried they're a bit wide. I've only ever skied my current 81mm. Maybe something like the CT1.0 would be better? Let me know what you're running on the east coast.
BTW: I'm 6'2", 190lbs. Intermediate
I 2nd the masterblasters. They are versatile and durable as hell.
Road mine at Mammoth over the Spring/summer (so: rocks hiding everywhere, ice in the morning, spring corn midday, slush at the end); they only have one half inch nick/scratch and there was maybe one time where I wish I had my wider Wildcats
