onenerdykidIf you are over-flexing a #8 tongue, then a #10 would be better. But if a #8 is good for you, then a #10 would most likely be worse. A boot doesn't know how good of a skier you are or aren't, or what terrain you are skiing, or what kind of ski you have. It just knows the forces acting upon it, which are mainly your weight, height, strength, and ability to flex a boot. Match the flex of your boot to those factors and you'll be good.
