CalumSKIive been skiing honey badgers all year and I want to get either the bent chetler 120s or catamarans for this season. Will I find any trouble with the waist width difference of with the catamaran, weight difference?
patagonialukeIt'll definitely take some adjustment, but those are both freestyle-oriented skis with forward mount points so the general skiing style will be the same, it'll just take more effort to get on edge, won't feel as quick, etc. The BC 120 will feel super intuitive, and the Cat will take a bit more getting used to due to the higher swing weight but I highly doubt you'll have any trouble with it. As long as you're not trying to rail super firm groomers at high edge angles or do quick rail tricks on these skis, you won't have any trouble.
CalumSKIWhich should I get then
I can get the cats for 450 or the bc 120s for 700
50KalI’m just saying you could get billy goats for 745 and it would shred everything.
-eREKTion-I really really like catamarans especially at that price. Insanely loose and jibby, so I don't think the weight will be that noticeable.
CalumSKIThat's us doe
mystery3If you can get the cats for 450 CAD do it. You'll definitely notice the weight especially in the air but they won't be difficult to ski.
