18/19 Candide 4.0 vs new moment wildcat

Hey everyone. I’m trying to decide a new powder ski. I was pretty set on the wildcat but just noticed the 4.0 are on sale atm. I’m 180cm 70kg and advanced skier. These will be used for powder days but also want something that will charge and handle the chopped up stuff well. Also worried about how close to centre the 4.0 are recommended to be mounted. Thanks!

IMO, most people will get along better with the Wildcat than the CT 4.0.
If you'll be using the ski predominantly in soft, forgiving snow in wide-open terrain, both could work. They're both strong skis that float well and encourage a more playful style.
But for skiing a mix of tight and open terrain, I much prefer the Wildcat. The CT 4.0 is a big, stiff, and pretty straight ski that excels on big mountains in good snow. The Wildcat is also tons of fun in good snow, but it feels much more forgiving and easy in tight terrain, more versatile when conditions aren't ideal, all while not being notably less stable in bigger terrain. The Wildcat also pivots more readily, carves better on firm snow, and (despite being a bit lighter) feels like it is more damp on firm snow.
Hope that helps, but feel free to fire away with any other questions.
