Replying to Furniture salesmen are the worst
First mistake: I walked into a furniture store the other day. I already loathe the absurd markups on shoddy quality "furniture" as it is, but we need a couch and new bed so figured that's where we would start. Also looking for ideas for a coffee table to have my dad make for us. Bad decision...
These fucking salesmen hoarded us like flies on rotten meat. We got raped worse than a used car dealership. I said "I'm just looking and don't want help", so fuck off I don't need your card. Quit following me you rat.
Now I consider myself to be a somewhat intelligent person, so when we were looking at a bedroom set that wasn't 10 trillion dollars, I spotted this sales pitch from a mile away. This fucking Russian (yes I said Russian. His accent and Russian colored track suit gave it away) pulled out the oldest trick in the book. "This is a great deal! It's fantastic and you get all this extra stuff with it too. Actually this sale shouldn't even be going and I'm supposed to take this down. I can still offer this price to you if you buy today." We were courteous as we walked out, but I clearly saw the other salesman laughing like he thought they were gonna get a sale from us.... Lmao stfu dude. That's the weakest sales pitch alive and quite honestly I find it offensive and untrustworthy. He also kept pushing the 0% financing like it was a golden goose or something even after we said we would be paying cash in full for anything we bought. This is why Americans are in debt because we have some dipshit pushing financing who doesn't even know what it means or the implications of it.
Yes I understand they're commissioned employees and it shows, but no thanks I don't want some greasy fucker all up in my shit every two seconds I turn a corner. I can read and make my own decisions. If I need help or if and when I decide to purchase something, I'll come find you.
Tldr: furniture salesmen are sneaky fucking cunts who are annoying as fuck. Their sales pitches are elementary at best and their financial knowledge is poor.
