Recommendations for big mountain/powder ski

Do you want something burlier than the enforcer 100?

I'd definitely go wider, you already have 100mm, 108 isn't that much bigger.

Definately look at moment. They’ll offer the stability you’re used too with the enforcers. Check out the deathwish and wildcat, or wildcat 108 if you want something slimmer. From experience the deathwish is an incredible all/big mountain shredder that surprisingly offers some playfullness too

Atris is my favorite ski ever, and I talk to other guys on them and they say the same. Great ski. You'd want the 189s.

Wildcats are good if you want wider...maybe Rustler 11s too. I wouldn't recommend the Deathwish unless you've skied them. I got on them and hated them, but love my Wildcats.

I like the Atris too, but would you buy one if you're other ski was 100mm waist? Just seems like too much overlap and it's not really a pow ski.

True that. They are a bit narrow for true big mountain powder. I think Rustler 11 could be a good start, but I'm sure others will suggest other skis too.

Really appreciate the responses, guys! That was also my concern too. Was thinking 108 wouldn't be too big of a step up from my 100s, and just wouldn't be worth it. I'll check out the suggestions. Thanks!

I second (or third or fourth) the recommendations for the Wildcat. Amazing ski.

If you like the E100, the E110 or Enforcer Pro are definitely worth a look. Similar feel, but better float and more playful. They're good alternatives to the Wildcat if you want something a bit heavier, more stable, and more damp. And the E110 is actually stiffer than the Atris.

ON3P Woodsman 116 is also worth a look for a burly, stable pow ski that's still pretty playful. Same goes for the Icelantic Nomad 115, J Skis Friend, and Line Sick Day 114 (though the SD is a bit less playful / more directional).

Great recommendations from Luke above! I’m your size and have the 186cm Enforcer 104 Free skis myself which are a little more playful than the 100 with it’s flex and rocker profile. My next width up is the 184cm Moment Bibby(now named Wildcat) and it lives up to the hype! Kills it everywhere and great in tracked out afternoon powder too.

The Enforcer 110 would a step up in performance in powder over the 100 while being more playful too but with it’s metal and weight, would also outperform the Atris in crud or tracked out powder. Agree with some of the others here that a 108-110 underfoot wouldn’t be as big a difference from your 100 as going to a 115mm plus ski.

The 116/118 underfoot Wildcat would be similar weight to the Atris but it really punches above it’s weight class. Pivots on a dime in trees and floats quite well. Best all around powder ski out there!

I’m 5’11” 185 lbs and ski the Atris in a 184. They feel short/loose on hard snow, so if that’s a concern, I’m willing to bet there are better mid 100 options out there for hard snow, but still just as capable in soft snow. I should mention the sidecut radius was increased since I bought mine, so that short feeling may not be as prominent now? Not to mention Id go for the 188 at your size.

Conversely, they pivot and smear pretty well and thought they worked well in bumps for that reason (if that's your style of skiing bumps).

Best performing condition for the Atris is easily soft snow.

My 184cm Bibbys weight similar to what the 190cm Wildcat now weights so with your size you could do either size.The 184cm if you’re skiing tighter spots and want a more playful ski, the 190cm if you ski more open spaces and want a bit more stability.
The 190cm Bibby wasn’t as fun for skiers your size but with improvements Moment made in construction to their skis the swing weight decreased and made the 190cm Wildcat easier to ski without losing much in the process. 190cm lengths go 2mm wider to 118mm underfoot as well.

Deathwish goes a little narrower underfoot, with a softer flex pattern than the Wildcat and uses triple camber rather than mustache rocker(rocker/camber/rocker). A little more playful but not as stable as the Wildcat. If I had no skis 100mm or wider and wanted to choose a good “all around soft snow ski” I’d consider the Deathwish. Because you already have the E100, I’d go to the Wildcat for less overlap.
I like a little more stable/playful charging type ski myself so I’d probably choose the Wildcat 108 over the Deathwish.
