VinnieFClicked on thread thinking it was going too be some shitty t-shirt company. Very pleasantly surprised. This is awesome. Love me a good cast iron pan. What makes it different from other cast iron pans I can buy? It's so nice to see people putting effort into making their own quality product rather then buying bulk from a Chinese manufacturer and passing it off as their own as is seen far too often on kickstarter. If I had the $$ or needed a new pan I would 100% buy one.
Appreciate the kind words man! The Lancaster skillet is the lightest new cast iron pan on the market, by almost half a pound. While making the finishing process more difficult, we included the iconic pour spouts in our design, while almost all of our competitors took them out. Our traditional handle design is a nod to the greats who have come before us. If you have used a Lodge before, you might think that all cast iron pans stick to everything you try to cook in it. Our skillets have a machined inner cooking surface that is smooth enough for even an egg to slide around. All these features make for a premium cooking experience!
