Tahoe. Kirkwood is one of the gnarliest mountains in the U.S. and the Tahoe backcountry has more touring than you could ask for.

Actually, the backcountry there is so good. Pebble Creek is the most hidden gem. Also, another Idaho resort is Schweitzer. Honestly my favorite resort.

Revelstoke or Whitewater or both. If you went Revy>Whitewater>Red that would be a fantastic combo. Fernie is awesome. Castle, Alberta is pretty great skiing. Lots of terrain and it's rarely busy. Limited options for accommodation, but with the hostel/hotel you get access to a fire pit and sauna. Also it's about a half hour drive from Pass Powderkeg which is small but has night skiing. You can't go wrong with any of those options.
