mystery3Try a different shop, sounds like that one is fishing for a boot sale, unless they are referring to the soles...if those are to worn they can't adjust the binding properly.
slime_boneI think he meant the soles, do they really matter? how can I fix them
Saucerboyshane6yrs old isn’t even that old they’re just trying to sell you some new boots
zaching11Can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not
zaching11No way of fixing worn soles unless they’re the descendent shells with the replaceable ones. I just had to replace my 2 year old dropkicks cuz I had like 170 days on them and the soles were so worn down and lip sided , I could start to feel them moving around in my binding
CalumSKIalso the tom wallish pros have interchangable soles i think

OregonDeadAs a common courtesy you should take the liner out before you go into the shop. They only need one of your shells that is all.
Some shops require both shells to get adequate release tests
AbiHSounds like that just don’t like you...... 😗
CalumSKIthis English just ain't adding up chief

No one wants to handle your old gross liners. You can clean the shell up and get all of the smell out of the shell but that is not going to happen with toxic liners.
I don't know if it is actually dangerous but I've smelled some pretty toxic smelling liners that I would for sure refuse to touch.
If you pissed off the shop that much that they refused you and you still want to keep your liners then you should probably just lie and say that you burned the liners and bring back just your boot shells after you disinfected them.
Hope that it is windy when you go skiing and never take off your boots around anyone. People notice the gross smell but they mostly just feel sorry for you and aren't going to say anything.
