I have a pair of old full tilts that I use just for park and they don't perform like my other boot or as well as they used to and seem to have much more flex than I would like.
Im not sure if I'm just used to the stiffer flex on my other boot or if the tongues have actually gotten more worn in and flexible over time on top of having packed out liners. They didn't seem to be this flexy until recently. (Do tongues wear out?)
They have the original 6 flex tongue and the same liners that came with them that are packed out and obviously need to be replaced.
My main question is whether its worth it to buy a new liner and how much difference in stiffness and performance can I get from a new liner alone like the intuition power wrap or power wrap+?
Should I definitely replace the tongue as well or get a booster strap? All of the above? what else can make a big difference?
Im basically just looking to make my boot fit better and be more stiff without having to buy new tongues because full tilt doesn't have the tongues in my size.
The other option is buying something thats in better condition and stiff but if just a new liner and booster strap could make a huge difference I would rather do that.
Thanks for the help
