ok so basically im traveling rn and when I arrive at my destination I will do it
You have my word and if I dont do it before wednesday 12:00am i will change my name to whatever you want.
Ill take a timestamp from when I start to when I finish to prove it takes very little time (10 mins is an exaggeration, 30 mins tops)

Edit: Apparently NS uses mono-channel uploads for audio?? I'm gonna post it on vimeo and provide the link.
Edit 2: Okay... Vimeo doesn't want to do it either. I don't really know how else to prove that it works, however shitty it may be.
I decided against using my own voice as making an acapella of some song would have taken much longer than actually putting the effect on. So, I decided to use Jake Mageau's Real Ski edit.
In process, I used the panning slider in the audio region to move the audio between the ears as pictured in the second timestamp. I also put on an "autofilter" (whatever that means) and used a similar slider function in the region for cutoff to make it sound muffled at some points.
I managed to do it in 19 minutes. Maybe it would have been shorter if I wasn't fucking around with additional effects.
I tried exporting in almost 10 times to make the 8d sound better but for some reason when it exports from logic it compresses the audio. It goes back and fourth more noticeably in the program and it's only slightly audible in the video, so it's more like 5-6d audio.
So, there. 8d audio is ez.
Better 8d audio probably takes a couple of times to get the hang of, but it isn't revolutionary, so stop treating it like it is!
