So I'm getting back into skiing after a lengthy break. I want a twin tip 'fun ski' that I can take down groomed runs at full speed as well. After doing some research, reading reviews etc I've narrowed it down to:
Line Chronic 2019
Faction Candide 2.0
Interested in any comments on the different features between these? It looks like Candide 2.0 is more of a fully rockered ski while the new Chronic is all camber, lots of it. The low tips of the Chronic are slightly concerning, but in honesty I will ski more downhill runs than anything.
My profile is 5'10", 175lbs, intermediate level not quite an expert, going to be skiing 80% frontside with variable Rocky Mtns conditions (good mix of groomed and chopped up powder). Moguls and trees occasionally. I don't really ski the park but do enjoy skiing backwards to f*** with my friends and mess around.
