Girls have crushes on older guys all the time (i.e. a teacher or their best friend's older brother or whatever). As for how I can tell, I can generally just tell because I don't see any girls even near my age range, which is late high school thru like college/20s. They are clearly either early high school and younger or like 30+.

But I also noticed they looked way younger than the age I knew they actually were. I think theres more girls than you realize, its just hard to tell age under a facemask, goggles and ill fitting ski outerwear.
