Lets band together and have Chad's gap win the Alta photo contest. I don't win shit other than bragging rights. I would really like if Newschoolers got behind me, so we all could win. Just like any other online voting contest it actually has very little to do with the content being promoted, it's about who has the biggest network/following. If it were about actual photo quality/uniqueness, it'd be up a panel of judges and not the internet.

Like skibumsmith said Lee Cohen is a local legend, so is Dave Mcreynolds, owner of the official Alta snow lab, so they also both have quite the following and multiple social media accounts are relaying their picture asking people to vote for them.

^ i once won a DSLR camera and some gear for an online photo contest. My pic was blurry as shit amongst a ton of pro photos. Still won, it was just a popularity contest because my friends/fam spammed the shit out of the contest. Good luck op, but I don't think the momentum you need will come from NS

He’s a local legend who’s been taking photos in LCC for decades now and is super close with all the old school Alta people (pretty sure he gets a free pass). He’s even published a book of his best work titled ‘Alta Magic’ which you can find on most people’s coffee tables that live in the canyon. His kid is pro skier Sam Cohen.

Honestly, its not even that much about timing. You just set your DSLR to a high shutter speed and auto fire, pick a pow pillow, let it rip a set of frames then pick the best one.

Margin of error is a measurement of uncertainty that results from sampling. There is no error margin for vote counting, especially for an electronic vote like this one, you chumps.

But I guess there are no losers in this case.

Highly doubtful. It was always very close and a few hours before the contest ended Brent lost the lead.
