Skateboarding is pretty relevant to skiing for alot of ppl.

Has one of the most natural styles around.
Skateboarders really seem to be forced into having good
Style because the tolerances are way narrower than things like skiing where you can land like a pussy
And still get away with it.

Cliffs notes- style is an important measure of skill.

Carlos Ribeiro. I love the way he skates switch.
As for former pros, I'd say Jon Allie and Danny Garcia. Jon Allie has the best kickflip I've ever seen and Danny Garcia is just so smooth and fluid.
