I think it was the 10-11 season maybe 11-12 and for some reason every time I was headed up the lift the ski patrol hit was playing ho hey on their speaker. Now that song reminds me of night skiing at my home mountain when I was a kid.

the smell of marijuana, because my first ever concert i went to was Queens of the stone age, and everybody around me was smoking weed

the smell that you get after a long day of shredding

a lot of music I listened to when I was younger

and loads of other stuff

And for me

Songs that where in media that I enjoyed as a kid. Black ops 1/mw1/mw2 soundtrack (especially zombies fuuuu) Halo 2 soundtrack (mjilnor song)
Songs from ski movies/segments too.
There is this real rare (blue??) Ralph Lauren scent that always brings back memories.
The smell of paper bills reminds me of parties from when I was a kid.

I have very strong memory association with certain artists or songs. For example I have very few memories from when I was younger than 5, but whenever I hear Parachutes by Coldplay (the album) I have flashbacks to when I was young and my parents would rock it.

a warm fall day with yellow trees and the wind blowing always throws me back to skateboarding through the streets with homies years ago. similarly, a certain spring day with sounds of cars in slush will throw me back to pvc tube sessions

Going back to my parent's house on X-mas Eve and smelling the pine aroma coming from the Christmas tree gets me good.

I had to go into a public school a couple months back to vote, and the eerie quietness and smell from the janitors cleaning supplies triggered some nostalgia.

I moved out of my parent's house 7 years ago, but I was digging through my childhood closet and found a box with all of my old cell phones. Turned one of them on and looked at text messages from 2007-2010. That was a crazy throwback.

I created my NS account back in 2010 I believe. Checking out the threads I created 10 years ago is very nostalgic.

Every time I have taken a heavy impact to the head ever since I was about 12 and I got knocked out cold for the first time I have a strange re occurring memory/ feeling that occurs. I can’t explain it, but it feels the same every single time and I can sort of picture my self from the third person while laying there and it’s a calm cozy feeling that I have, sort of like sitting inside around a wood fire with family. Super strange but I would say that gives me nostalgia lol. Brings me back to the very first hill and night where it began
