So I just got some Full Tilt Descendant 6’s and I feel like I’m landing backseat a majority of my tricks when I hit bigger jumps. First day on them I went to Carinthia and I was having trouble landing cleanly a majority of the time. Is it me or the boots or my skis? (J vacation) help please. Any tips on not landing backseat?
Sorry to say but it’s not the gear it’s you. Make sure you have shin pressure when you leave the lip and try to get your skis/body to match the incline of the landing.
It must be the 10lb counter weights they put in the tails of the skis and backs of the boots that are making you lean back in the backseat. Totally the issue. Buying DPS should solve your problem.
I was landing backseat and someone said “buy full tilts” so I did and I still land backseat!1!1!1! I’m outraged how could these boots not fix my bad skiing?!?!?!?!
it's obviously mostly you but i do recall someone mentioning that full tilts have a more upright lean. that and/or just having new gear might be throwing you off your game. just get used to the new gear and keep pressing your shins against the boot tongues and lean forward, you'll be good!
