Job is boring me. I actually have good work ethic if I put my mind to something. I have no interest in starting a shitty off brand chinese clothing company like every other skier who wants a sidehustle in the industry. What ski industry related idea would you guys would want to see brought to life? Idea with the most likes will be given a serious effort at being brought into existence* since I have some spare capital and business knowledge. This thread will be up for a month and by then I will have made a decision.
*: if it is a serious and feasible idea, jokes will be disregarded regardless of the likes they are certain to obtain.
I find it an inconvenience to change and pause music while skiing. I usually have to take a glove off to poke at my inline remote but when its stormy this is less than ideal. A solution to this problem could be an aux extension cord with an inline remote built into it. Not just a standard inline remote but one with large independent buttons (maybe like an inch in diameter each) that can be fashioned to the inside of a jacket. That way to play/pause/skip or change the volume of music you could keep your gloves or mittens on and just press the large buttons through you jacket. With this design people could also use their own ear buds. I attached a rough sketch haha.

Under Armour had integrated controls at least a decade ago on the sleeve of one of their jackets.

Market it to the 5 days/year crowd so they can get their sweet lift shots for the 'gram without worry

I'd like to see a ski youtube channel that's similar to snowboard pro camp, ryan knapton, johnathan buckhouse, skills with phill or seths bike hacks. Yeah ski addiction and stomp it tutorials exist, but they aren't really giving the perspective of the average park skier and they don't do ski reviews or product reviews and they don't put content up that often. There are ski channels out there but they are either professional skiers, so not really relatable to average park skiers, or they are pushing a specific product rather than the channel itself. There is a real niche that could be filled for a consistant relatable ski channel (some of the snowboard vlogs post nearly every day). If you become a decent youtuber there is cash to be had from advertisers, sponsors, and viewer donations. Source - I watch all the snowboarder vloggers on my off days, it gives me the sense of being on mountain without being on mountain and I'm not even a snowboarder.
Shark tank doing a great service by showing americans they dont deserve to earn more than they do because the tier of their original ideas is as valuable as a bag of lettuce.

I had a pretty decent idea with a chain rental service at the bottom of lcc but realized that due to the nature of the work and limited operating days it wouldn't really be worth it plus I'd have to give up my pow days to start it.
