I am early 30' and finally grew up to skiing. Tbh I always thought skiing isn't cool, till I saw all those young gangs riding on twin tips. I fell in love and somehow I feel like I could join the crew. I had spent my whole childhood on my rollerskates, who remember Bauer's ?!, and I am pretty sure I will learn skiing fast (let me dream ;) ).
I am looking for a set for myself and what I know now is that from chin to nose it is about 141-150 cm (I am 163 cm tall and 58 kg, if that matters). I found some used gear that I could buy and I was wondering if you could advise if that is a good way or I should search sth else.
1. K2 Shreditor 85, 139 cm
2. Scott Rebel 142 cm
3. VOLKL 148 CM
I can't change the gear each season, so it will be my set for couple of years. I could spend some more if that would definetely make progress easier, but I don't want to loose a fortune.
I would like to try freestyling, somehow it is closer to my heart. I want to ride backwards, jump, get on boxes and have fun on the slope and some freeride too.
Is that a good start?
Thank you in advance !
