Thoughts peeps on if I'm being stupid here.
it's taken me many years to find the perfect boot and I have done so with the Nordica ACE 2's. the are snug in all the right places, allowing me to ski for hours on end. On my touring setup (guardians) I have been using the ACE's with no issues or at least none since I don't know what a real touring boot feels.
I loved the ace's so much that I bought 2 extra boots that were being cleared out for $150.
Now comes my question, I'm picking up a set of new ski's and slapping the new Salomon Shift on them. I have searched around and the company CAST performs boot conversions that work with the SHIFT

do I:
a. send out one of the ACE2's to have this done since there is an extra pair. my first pair have 200+ and prolly should be turfed soon.
I'm guessing this will cost be around $400 CAD with shipping inclusive.
b. buy a new boot that I'm unsure about but dedicated for touring. I have already on the Dalbello Lupo AX and they feel good, just not sure that transitions into long days of touring . In Canada we also get the joy of paying way more for product and the cost is 699 Plus tax.
