Hi guys, so I decided to buy some 2018 k2 poacher because I found a pretty sick deal online. 350 canadian brand new. I am 5'6 140 pounds and was wondering if the 163 will suit me? I'm a intermediate skiier skiing mostly groomers but a beginner in the park, hoping to improve in the park in the following years.

According to my calculations 5'6 is 167cm, which means 164 is just a bit under your head height.
Sounds like 164 is the perfect size for you, although if you were to hit a big growth spurt and became 5'10 or so, you might want a larger ski.
Just saying that you could potentially out grow the ski and need a new/larger pair next season too

great ski, and a good size for you. the rule of thumb is your height, plus or minus a few cm given your skill level, style, preferences etc. since youre a beginner in the park and intermediate on groomers, 163 will be a great size for you for a park ski

You're the same size as my 12 year old brother and I just bought him 163 Soul Rider 84s. You're perfect.
