Most of you probably don't know them but might as well make a thread on it anyways.
Thoughts on the new album "A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relashionships"?
I don't like how they realeased a few singles before and then music videos before the entire album was even out.
When there first single for their new album "Give Yourself A Try" was released I was kinda dissapinted. It's basically a rip-off of "Disorder" by Joy Division. Then they released "Love It If We Made It" and that was an amazing song that sounded like some of the old stuff they made before. I kinda had high hopes for the album after that song.
Anyways, I listened to the entire album all the way through a few times and the beggining is good, but by the end it loses it's 1975 feel. They still have their synth-rock sound, but it's not really there anymore.
Their old shit was amazing, and the 1975 is the reason I got into rock music (they're not a rock band but they started my love for music so whatever). Some of you probably listened to the new album as The 1975 are getting bigger as a band, so if you have then write how you felt about it.
If you've only listened to their new album, listen to their old shit cause it's 100% better.
