SKRockiesSecond season as a freestyle coach, I fucking love it
DesertStixMay be an inherently dumb question but what do you teach? We just have regular “instructors” and no one that specializes in freestyle to my knowledge...
SKRockiesI coach a team that competes around the area we live and help them prep for freestyle comps

colbyapplegateWhere? I do freestyle comps so jw
TRVP_ANGELi cant believe they pay you just to yell "just send it"
DeebieSkeebiesRight on. I kinda grew up in the freestyle/freeride team scene and competed a bunch, coached a little bit for a season, its a fun environment to be in, honestly.
Best advice is to just keep things fun, relaxed, and encouraging.....and I know you're a park coach which is fine but definitely take the opportunity to ski out of the park and work on skiing better overall with the kids. Some of them love it, and some of them hate it. But its a good way to get out of the park on a busy weekend when its hard to coach kids and just go have some fun upper-mountain.
CalumSKIThanks alot dawg :)
DeebieSkeebieserryone loves a powday no matter how old or young you are. Plus. its a great time getting the groms all stoked and having the coaches tee up some drops for them.
