Burton

My Burton pants are my most ragged fucked up pair of pants and I've only had them two years. My Armada and Saga pants have fared much better. I also have an Anon helmet which I like a lot less than my old Giro. It just feels cheaper.

Burton does make some decent gear but you have to pay for it. Idk. I generally just rock cheap saga shit. I've had decent luck with it and when you pay like $150 in the spring sale for pants, hoodie, jacket, and 3 pair of gloves I'm pretty fucking down.

I think I still have 2 winter jackets, 4 or 5 light jackets, 1 hoodie, 2 new pair 1 beat up pair, and 5 or 6 pair of gloves and I didn't even buy anything this year.

Even if saga was the least popular gear on the mountain I'd rock it prowdly. That said I'm going to sell off a few of the jackets this season because I got drunk and over bought for sure.

Yeah, I rocked some Burton mittens too and they were great- but got absolutely wrecked after one season.

they have some decent stuff but it's not really my bag, though i did have some pants of theirs that i wore until they were literally shredded to bits

as a brand they seem pretty stuck in the 90s style "fuck skiing, we're revolutionary and hip for snowboarding" image which is pretty lame but oh well

I love the Burton look but I refuse to buy any of their stuff bc I'm a loyal skier lol

I've worn a burton cholo jacket for quite a few years and it has held up great. Really impressed with it. I went to an armada jacket last year and like it, but it's a little too warm. Might go back to the burty.

In the 2000s Analog was the sickest. That division of Burton was doing good things.

I know it doesn’t apply to this site but Burton has always made some of the best hardware and continually pushed new styles and designs.

They have the potential to make any and everything they want so it could be incredible. But lately it seems like they don’t have very inspired deisgners as their soft goods have been pretty standard.

In high school I bought a burton riding bag for the sole fact it came with a 420 kit. It was a hard shell little wallet that could fit your bud and lighters and piece. It was waterproof. I was 15 and thought it the coolest.
