Hi Guys/Gals, long time lurker here, been browsing NS since I was about 14 (now 23!) and about to embark on my first full ski season, wanted to share with you the job thats allowing me to do this! I don't know if any of you have heard of ESL teaching (English as a second language) but I've been doing this online for the past month and earning around $17 an hour on a nifty app called Palfish, teaching Chinese students ranging from age 4-16. Im currently doing around 12 hours a week an earning approximately $200/week, which is easily scaleable up or down to suit your schedule (min 3.5hrs).
Palfish is an Android or ios App for kids and adults, with an Official Kids Course or freetalk. The best money is in the Offical kids course, to apply you need a US, Canadian, NZ, UK, Irish or Aus passport. As far as requirements Palfish lists a TEFL certification preferable (I don’t have one) or experience teaching kids, I used to work as a tennis coach and that was sufficient for me!
Would appreciate if you used my link:

Any questions you have please fire away, I can also guide you through the interview process! The interview process is the easiest I have seen, it’s in an empty classroom (no child or recruiter) and you literally teach half a mock lesson by yourself, I’ve yet to see or hear anyone fail.
They are literally expanding like crazy right now and there is to many students for teachers!

Pay ranges from $16/hr - $22hr depending on how many hours you work, Im scheduled to hit level 2 for my second month and make $17.5/hr and this is just part time!
Bonuses can be a big earner also, for every trial conversion you receive 20 points and $30. In two weeks I’ve converted 2 from 15 trials, not bad considering I am far from the most experienced/best teacher. A $30 bonus for referrals is also available, not bad!
Apart from the other positive one of the greatest things as a Young male is I tend to be predominantly booked by male students, therefore I often don’t need to be over the top and play with puppets etc, its more natural and less like being a childrens TV presenter.
TLDR:
Easy interview
High booking rate
Extremely flexible
High paying
Teach off mobile/tablet off 4G/Wifi
No need to act like a clown all the time
18+ only
Im in Europe so the peak hours are pretty normal for me, however the US timezones would allow you teach early AM and ski all day! Im also planning my season in Bulgaria, therefore cost of living is very low, however this would still be a good oppurtinity to work round other jobs/college etc, and with a bit of effort its reasonable to be able to do around 30hrs/week ($2200 a month+)
If anyone has any questions please just ask, I will happily guide anyone through the interview process and help get them started with regular students etc !
Peace
