Ok real talk it was way sicker when companies made their team by sponsoring new riders instead of offering better contracts to already presented riders. (To make sure you don't get the wrong idea, I do not mean at all that I think I should be sponsored my skiing has ass cancer)
but like sponsoring new riders is how we have new generations of skiing. In an extreme example if all companies were just basically trading skiers between themselves, no new skiers receive recognition because way fewer people would see their shots and the ski industry would eventually just burn out. Obviously that is an extreme example but just so you get what Im talking about.
